Steve Massey has a passion for connecting with his clients to find solutions to their financial goals. He is focused and takes whatever time is needed to strategize, advise and come up with an individual investment game plan. After defining the game plan, Steve then researches and find the best and most appropriate financial products to match his client’s goals.
With over 36 years of experience in the financial services industry, Steve has a wealth of knowledge and depth of understanding that few can match. He specializes in asset allocation and focuses on individualized portfolios. Steve always puts his clients' needs and wishes first, and his motto is “Always putting you first with honesty and integrity.”
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Management from Colorado State University. Immediately following graduation in 1982, Steve joined his father at Massey Financial Services and is now the owner of the company his father founded. Before affiliating with Sovereign Financial Group in 2020, Steve was with Raymond James, LPL Financial Services and Sun Investment Services.
With a passion for the outdoor life, Steve enjoys camping, fishing, kayaking, downhill skiing, and classic cars, and is the proud owner of a restored 1968 Camaro Convertible. He splits his time between living in a historical home in Bethany, CT and a 3rd generation farmhouse in Union, CT. He is the encouraging and supportive father of his daughter, Katherine (Katie) is a certified fitness and nutrition instructor.
